What is Hugo?
The Leitz Cine HUGO is a set of spherical prime lenses designed for full-frame and Super 35 digital cinematography. Named after Hugo von Völker, the set draws on over a century of Leitz optical heritage — now translated for the demands of contemporary narrative filmmaking.
Each lens in the set shares a consistent optical recipe: close-focus capability, minimal focus breathing, organic bokeh, and a resolving power that holds through full-frame corners. Technically rigorous, cinematically alive.
Our rental set is maintained in pristine condition and ships in a hard-shell flight case with all accessories. Available for single-day shoots through multi-week productions.
